Administration OrderAn Administration Order is issued by the court to allow you to pay your creditors an affordable monthly fee and protects you from your creditors taking further action against you. To be eligible for an Administration Order, you must owe less than £5,000 to a minimum of 2 creditors and a county court judgement must have been issued against you. To apply for an administration order, you will need to fill in an N92 form. This can be obtained either from the court or can be downloaded online. The N92 form requires you to give information about your current financial situation including your income and expenditure, and details of payments you are paying to other creditors. The court can then assess what surplus funds you have available which can be used to repay your creditors on a monthly basis. Once a monthly payment is set, the court will require you to pay that amount to them. The court will then allocate a percentage of your payment to each creditor and distribute them on your behalf. As a handling fee, the court will deduct 10% of your monthly payment. Once an Administration Order is in place, creditors will no longer be able to issue further action against you. Telephone calls and letters for payment will be stopped.
